I love my hometown of Scottsdale Arizona. My love-affair with this gorgeous desert town started the night I arrived in this town for the first time. My family and I had the opportunity to take a quick winter-time trip for some sun and fun, and that short trip was how we were introduced to our future home. That first night, I just felt an energy, as if just being here was a celebration of life. Years later, we were lucky enough to get the opportunity to relocate to our favorite place. We have no regrets. Scottsdale is filled with amazing parks, aquatic centers, golf courses, spas, senior centers, and let’s not forget the dining and shops of Old Town! If you’re looking for a resort-style environment, Scottsdale is a wonderful place to call home.
After our first visit, I obsessed over how we could move from Seattle to Scottsdale. I frequently shopped Scottsdale homes for sale during that time period, daydreaming about what it would be like to live in Scottsdale full-time.
